Arranging a Funeral
When you make the first call to notify us your loved one has passed away, we will give you the option of meeting with us in any of our funeral homes, in the comfort of your own home or any other suitable location.
My Funeral Wishes
‘My Funeral Wishes’ is a free service we offer, which provides an opportunity to simply record your wishes for your funeral in as much or as little detail as you wish.
Pre-Paid Funeral Plans
A funeral plan is an easy way to arrange the funeral you want in advance. A plan allows you to specify your wishes and pay for the funeral director’s services included in your plan.

There are now two generations of the Porteous family in the company. Mark, his wife Yvonne and son Grant work with a dedicated team of staff, who between them have many years’ experience within the funeral profession.
Since opening our first funeral home in Juniper Green in 2006, our reputation has grown through personal recommendation and we now have a number of additional funeral homes throughout Edinburgh and the Lothians.
As proud members of SAIF (The National Society of Allied and Independent Funeral Directors), we are fully compliant with both SAIF and Scottish Government Codes of Practice. This gives the families we serve reassurance that our standards of conduct are regulated and regularly monitored.
