Arranging a funeral is one of the most stressful experiences a family can undertake. Amid the emotion associated with the loss of a loved one, families are expected to make choices and decisions that best reflect their needs.

From arranging the actual funeral itself (service, coffin, cars, etc.) we will also contact clergy or officiant, crematorium or cemetery, newspapers, florist and caterers, should they be required.
And, as members of the National Society of Allied Independent Funeral Directors, all options and their associated cost are fully explained by us and a written estimate of all expenses will be provided before any funeral takes place. Once you have purchased your plan, all of the funeral director's costs are guaranteed to be paid. The plan also allows you to make a contribution to third party costs (known as disbursements). Our flexible plans enable you to arrange your funeral to be as simple or as comprehensive as you wish. You may also add to or amend the plan at any time should your wishes change.

You may want to discuss which minister to use, what a newspaper notice is to say, and what flowers are to be ordered. Or you may just want to give us some basic details, and let your family or friends take care of the other arrangements at the time.

Golden Charter Funeral Plans are also regulated by the Funeral Planning Authority. All payments placed are administered and serviced by AXA Sun Life plc, who are authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority (FSA).
